Very simply, With the zoom calls, pictures, our detailed design quiz, and questionnaire we are confident we can deliver you a comprehensive plan that takes all your needs into account. Our questionnaire is meant to be filled out in detail.  The more information you can give us the better we can serve you.

Once we receive your questionnaire, photos of your room, dimensions, payment, and we book our zoom call How We Haven will have a mood board and shoppable links to you within 2-3 weeks.

In this case, we strongly suggest you purchase a design plan for both spaces.  Spaces which open into one another tend to feel like a single space, and it’s not possible to truly transform the look without taking into consideration everything your eye sees in its single view.

Absolutely! We can work within just about any budget. That said, our ability to create a dramatic transformation will be determined by what you’ve set aside for the project.  Of course, if you want items from designer’s expect to have a higher budget. IF we feel our budget is unrealistic we will let you know.

If we’ve missed the mark on an item or two, you may send us your thoughts in an email (step 4 in our process) and we will provide appropriate changes. This is also the time to ask all questions.

If something becomes discontinued you can always shop for a similar item but we recommend that before purchasing our service, you wait until you are financially and practically ready to implement a design change

The recommended rug size for your space will be noted when we deliver our mood board and detailed instructions.

Purchasing Information will be delivered via email along with the mood board.  A list of the suggested products with direct links to purchase will be sent.

How We Haven is a design consultation service only and the fee you pay is for the design and sources. The customer is responsible for purchasing any furnishings they choose for their space. 

It is your responsibility to follow up with the individual retailer from which you purchased the furnishing you wish to return and/or exchange. Each company has their own policies.

We are happy to offer a 15/30 minute consult to answer questions while you are in the implementation phase. We have a fee for install needs. However, our goal is to give all info needed upon delivery of the presentation.

The best way to find a local painter or any tradesperson is through word of mouth. Using Angies list and yelp can be a great resource.  To sell your used items to make room for new things we suggest local town yard sale sites that are popular on FB.
